THE QUEEN MOTHER CENTENARY HOLIDAY SCHEME
With monies raised from appeals, each year the Charity has been able to provide disabled and elderly beneficiaries and their carers with a well deserved rest.
Holidays are organised in both the UK and in Tenerife for retired or disabled racing staff who have spent most of their working lives in the thoroughbred horseracing and breeding industry.
The Tenerife holiday is specifically for those who have suffered a disability through accident or illness. Priority is given to those whose condition would particularly benefit from a holiday in a warm climate.
The UK holiday is for those who have retired, are unable to work because of health reasons or are experiencing a personal or financial crisis and would benefit from a break. It is also for those that are too frail to travel abroad.
Places are limited and priority is given to those who have never been on a Racing Welfare holiday or are on low incomes.
If you would like to be considered for one of our holidays, please contact Melissa Martin on 01638 560763
