Like Lambourn, Epsom lads struggle to find affordable accommodation. Sharon has spent considerable time this year helping a lad who suffered a very bad fall on the gallops to get his life back together.

Free Bus Passes

Winter is beginning to loose its icy grip and spring is just around the corner time to start venturing out and about again. This year the 1 st of April is not only April Fools Day but also the day free bus travel on local buses nationwide comes into force if you are 60 plus or disabled. The big advantage of this scheme is if your are visiting friends or family in a different area you can still use your pass and if you live on the border of two bus areas you can now travel for free in either area. If you haven’t got your bus pass pop along to your local town hall with two passport sized photos of yourself, proof of address and age and they will help you complete the application form.

Christmas Social Event

Christmas lunches were held for retired staff in both the Epsom and Arundel areas. They were well attended and enjoyed by all.

Working staff celebrated the season with an informal get together and superb buffet at South Hatch Racing Restaurant, Epsom.

Spring outings are being planned and the coffee mornings continue to be popular, if you would like to join us just give me a ring.
